- as our Customer Delivery Hub Technician you will provide lead in the delivery of excellent customer service by driving a company supplied vehicle to deliver, assemble and install products in customers’ premises in line with the planned route

- the salary range for this role is set at £32,478 - £44,685. A shift allowance of 20% will also be paid
- keep your knowledge of horticultural practices and environmental considerations up to date and apply them in your work
- key responsibilities will include
- we are looking for Partners who want to make a difference to our customers’ experience when receiving delivery and installation of our fantastic products
- please note this role is for 42 hours per week. This is a shift working pattern of 14 x 12.5 hour shifts in every 28 day cycle. You will be working a combination of day and night shifts
- carry-out technical planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks, complying with H&S governance, legislation and institutional standards / SLAs
- relevant experience working within Grounds and/or GardensTeam
- NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent in Professional Horticulture SportsTurf Maintenance
- responsible for mentoring and coaching colleagues of varying ability to achieve their personal development goals and the business secure its strategic aims, showing particular support for those who aspire to become Customer Deliver Installers
- full Driving Licence
- as a Customer Delivery Hub Technician you will be the lead in the delivery of excellent customer service - the helpful driver who delivers the unique blend of quality and outstanding service that you expect from John Lewis and Partners, right to our customers' doors
- ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings and fault-find to component level
- the site operates 24-7 with engineering presence on-site to provide structured planned preventative/remedial disciplines and reactive response to a complex building services infrastructure, supporting in excess of £150m of materials-handling automation equipment, constantly evolving with continued site development investment
- this is a really important ‘front line’ role that is a crucial part of our operation, where you will be delivering excellent customer service in line with the John Lewis proposition by aiding in the delivery, assembly and installation of products in the customer's premises following the planned route
