Responsibility
- leo Group is one of the UK’s leading specialists in animal by-products and renewable energy
- install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications
- cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines
- measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- weld, solder, or braze pipes to connect them
- test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges
- we play a critical role in the food and agricultural industries collecting and processing material – which is converted into meals and oils for use in pet food, cosmetics, chemicals, and renewable fuel
- repair or replace damaged pipes or pipe fittings
Requirements
- proven experience as a pipefitter or in a similar role
- knowledge of various pipe materials and fittings
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
