Responsibility
- oversee daily operations and manage a team of employees during assigned shifts
- ensure efficient and timely execution of tasks and adherence to company policies and procedures
- monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands
- coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
- train, mentor, and provide feedback to team members to enhance their performance
- resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the shift
- conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- utilize AS400 system for data entry, reporting, and analysis
Requirements
- previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred
- strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs
- excellent punctuality
- familiarity with shipping and receiving processes in a 3PL environment
- strong personal organizational skills
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- experienced computer and internet user
- willingness to help with all aspects of the business
