Responsibility

  • surveying and estimating costs for small projects
  • managing works on average from £200.00 to £25k
  • you will also be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • scheduling and coordinating direct labour workforce
  • sourcing and organising subcontractors
  • managing each job from surveying and pricing, to completion
  • utilising SOR or National Scheduling Rates to prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for some clients
  • coordinate and schedule projects and maintenance work, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely completion of tasks

Requirements

  • proven experience in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry
  • proven experience in surveying and estimating costs for small projects
  • knowledge of SOR or National Scheduling Rates
  • excellent project management and organizational skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations

credit controller

Responsibility

  • managing the credit control process to ensure timely payments and reduce outstanding debts
  • generating accurate invoices and ensuring all billing aligns with agreed terms
  • handling customer queries related to invoices and payments professionally and efficiently
  • monitoring and reconciling customer accounts
  • producing regular reports on accounts receivable and overdue payments
  • supporting the finance team with administrative tasks as needed
