- we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Worker to join our friendly team to help support parents and carers of children, young people and adults with a disability

Requirements
- have an appropriate social care or SEND qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
- have experience of working in culturally diverse communities
- experience of working with sensitive and confidential data
- have excellent communication skills – verbal, written and listening
- good interpersonal skills with the ability to build appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with people who use the service
- have direct experience of working with families and children with SEN on a 1:1 or group basis
- have a good understanding or knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and an understanding of possible safeguarding risks for the people we support
