Responsibility
- diagnosing faults, repairing and servicing marine engines and drive units
- installation and repair of general marine systems
- all aspects of vessel hull maintenance
- practising good housekeeping - including correct spares storage and maintaining clear paper records
- reviewing work practices and suggesting ways to reduce lead times and costs
Requirements
- proven experience as a marine engineer covering areas such as boat maintenance, plumbing, electrics and GRP work
- experience within the leisure industry
- ability to prioritise workload when up against deadlines
- ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
- valid driving licence
- marine Engineering: 1 year
