Postgraduate Manager Lancaster
Following the recent move to amalgamate all postgraduate and post-experience provision into a new strategic entity, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Lancaster University Management School new central post-experience office. We are seeking someone to undertake the role of Postgraduate Manager as a full time, permanent role. The Postgraduate Manager will provide highly effective leadership, strategic vision and direction for the new post-experience space within the school, working alongside senior leaders. Alongside the Associate Dean for Education, the postholder will be responsible for delivering the post-experience strategy within the School. This provides an exciting development opportunity for a member of professional services staff looking to gain leadership and management experience across core business functions within the faculty. Student Casework Manager (maternity cover) Lancaster
The Student Wellbeing Services team are seeking to appoint a Student Casework Manager. This role will provide highly effective leadership and management expertise in student casework and incident support to the Associate Director (Student Wellbeing and Inclusion) and the Head of Student Support and Wellbeing. You will manage the Student Wellbeing Incident Support Service and develop and implement effective processes for managing complex student casework and reporting for Student Wellbeing Services, responding to and adopting the student-related best practice and compliance requirements set out by statutory and regulatory bodies such as the Office for Students (OfS), Universities UK (UUK), Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) and Advance HE. The role is pivotal in ensuring that the University’s policies and procedures are followed correctly and that all parties are engaged in the processes effectively. You will be expected to work independently and with minimal supervision, using your experience to take a proactive approach to supporting students, managing institutional risks and drawing on internal and external specialist services as appropriate. You will be expected to take decisions and make recommendations drawing on the specialist advice available. You will be expected to manage a large caseload in which there are areas of significant complexity and internal and external partners involved. You will join the Student Wellbeing Services Leadership Team and will report to the Head of Student Support and Wellbeing. This is a fixed-term post for 12 months to provide maternity cover for the existing post-holder. Teaching Partnership Support Manager Lancaster
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Student and Programme Administration as the Teaching Partnership Support Manager. This role will manage a small team and oversee administration of our teaching partnership activity across 4 international locations, the role also undertakes activity relating to UA92 and other partners located in the UK. An effective communicator, with an awareness of the requirements of working across multiple cultures. Timetabling Manager Lancaster
This position will be appointed for three years in the first instance to cover the secondment of the current post holder to another role within the University. Applicants are sought for the important role of Timetabling Manager at Lancaster University. Reporting to the Head of Assessment, Award and Timetabling this role will lead the timetabling team.
