• candidates will be expected to pack and sort product at a fast paced busy production line
• we are looking for PART TIME predominantly in the High Care Area and Packing areas

• we are looking for PERMANENT staff to work from 11pm to 7am in the High Care and packing areas, working days will all be confirmed at interview
• this is a fast paced role where you will be working as part of a dedicated team to produce and pack chilled and frozen ready prepared meals, working to a high level of accuracy to meet production targets
• food Hygiene Certificates Preferred but also not essential
• you will monitor product quality – raising any issues to the Production Manager, whilst ensuring health & safety standards are maintained for production processes and equipment
• carefully measuring and adding toppings to finish off our dishes and make them extraordinary
• maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace

Responsibility

• ensure a robust ‘near miss’ process is in place, communicated, understood, and is an effective tool for accident reduction
• to keep the business informed of any new legislation, identify gaps, and implement actions to ensure compliance. Develop and manage a robust auditing process
• develop and drive a plan toward best practice levels of training appropriate to roles across the business. Assist in sourcing training providers and deliver training as required

Requirements

• diploma level NEBOSH, H&S, and Environmental qualification or equivalent
• retail premises experience
• training in root cause analysis methods and tools ·

• conduct inspections of internal hygiene standards and documentation
• establish and maintain effective waste segregation to improve recycling opportunities

• manage the provision of hygiene chemicals and dosing equipment on site - to include periodic chemical dosing checks, maintenance of equipment and to oversee the safe storage, decant, transport and use of chemicals on site
• through effective supervision of the hygiene team, ensure that the factory is kept clean and tidy – throughout production, all external areas, offices, toilets and cafe
