Responsibility

  • communicate the company’s operating policies, customer issues and safety measures
  • developing and implementing strategic sales plans, process and systems that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence
  • collaborating with the director to identify business goals
  • performing financial predictions by preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variance and initiating corrective actions
  • reviewing and approving operational invoices and forwarding them to payment
  • working with HR to perform certain HR duties such as recruiting/selecting, counselling and disciplining employees
  • making sure the company is hitting sales targets by implementing performance metrics and actions plans to maximise the efficiency and overall output of the team

Requirements

  • proven sales/operations experience in a complex environment, with a particular focus on people management
  • the ability to prioritise, manage conflicting deadlines, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
  • strong attention to detail
  • confident communicator and networker with experience of building relationships with key stakeholders, with an ability to engage and influence
  • targets driven
  • problem solver, able to identify new processes and implement from beginning to end
  • having a background in the creative industry is preferred but not essential
