- install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to determine optimal plumbing solutions
- assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, and dishwashers
- troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs
- collaborate with other professionals such as HVAC technicians to ensure efficient operation of building systems
- heavy lifting may be required
- commercial driving may be required for transportation of materials and equipment
- proven experience as a plumber or relevant field
- mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- ability to read blueprints and schematics
- familiarity with pipe threading equipment and techniques
- knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
