- you will be responsible for undertaking assessments, preparing court reports, and providing expert evidence in legal proceedings
- conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to inform care planning
- preparing high-quality court reports and attending court hearings to present evidence
- collaborating with legal professionals, other agencies, and professionals involved in the child's case
- implementing interventions and support plans to address identified needs and risks
- ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping, adhering to case management standards
- providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice
Requirements
- qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
- significant experience in children's social work, particularly in a court setting
- sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and related regulations
- ability to write concise and analytical court reports, presenting complex information clearly
- social work: 2 years
