KING ARTHUR'S HALL is looking for employees for positions:
- full time Chef / Cook required
- accommodation available If needed
- the King Arthur’s Arms is an old Cornish Inn, located in the heart of Tintagel on the North Cornwall coast
- we are a large family friendly Inn/Public House with 12 award winning 4 star Inn bed and breakfast rooms
- you will be working in a modern kitchen as part of a team under our Head Chef
- tintagel is very busy during the summer, so the kitchen is extremely busy in the summer months
- we serve food all day 7 days a week from a large and varied menu and daily specials our dishes are homemade using locally sourced produce
- we are looking to hire a fully trained, experienced Chef with the confidence and skill to work along side our kitchen team in a professional manner
- ensure Health and Safety also food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary
- handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given
- collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when required
- proven experience in bartending is essential with three year previous experience and currently holds a personal licens
- strong knowledge of drink recipes and beverage trends
- excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with strong communication skills
- understanding of food safety practices relevant to bar operations
