Nursery Deputy Manager Ardingly
We’re looking for a Deputy Manager to join our Ardingly Nursery. You may be looking for your first management position in a company that will support your continued development, or you may be an experienced manager already. We’re looking for someone full time, to work a minimum of 40 hours, across a 5-day week. We’re a family business so we understand the need to work around your family too.Kiddie Capers Ardingly is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and provides stimulating and enabling environments for children aged 0-5 years old. We are a 50-place sole use setting located on the South of England Show ground. A unique rural location providing year-round attraction for the children to experience, such as farm animals, horses, sports cars, monster trucks, helicopters and much more.The Nursery benefits from two sensory rooms filled with exciting tactile toys for the children to explore and develop their senses. The light table, sensory tube and large ball pool are favourites amongst the children. We also have a dedicated sleep room where the children can take their naps listening to relaxing music.With an abundance of outside space to explore, children participate in regular trips into the woods for our forest school sessions. We create strong links with the community by visiting the local village of Ardingly, spending time in the park and getting treats from the bakery.The role has become available as our current Manager has moved into our new Nursery Manager Designate role giving more support to Nurseries across the company. In addition to this we currently have an Area Manager and 3 Senior Managers each with dedicated sites, to provide support and guidance to Managers and Deputies. The role:We’re looking for a Deputy Manager to join our Scaynes Hill team. You may be looking for your first management position in a company that will support your continued development, or you may be an experienced manager already. We’re looking for someone full time, to work a 40, 45 or 50 hour contract (your choice), across a 5-day week. We’re a family business so we understand the need to work around your family too.Scaynes Hill is a 36 place Nursery, providing stimulating and enabling environments for children aged 0-5 years old. Our Nursery and Preschool is based in a small local village with stunning rural views surrounding it. We provide forest school sessions that allow the children to discover and explore the outdoors, it promotes children’s confidence and independence, as well as allowing them to risk take in a safe environment. We have two separate rooms, a baby room and a preschool room. Our baby room is filled with tools and resources to support the growth and development of 0-2 year olds, we thrive on ensuring our baby room is secure and homely for our babies. And our preschool room is designed to meet the needs of children aged 2-5 years, providing stimulating and creative environments for our pre-schoolers. We are extremely fortunate to have two gardens here. Our first garden is where the children are able to zoom around on bikes and trikes, and in our second garden we work to encourage the children’s development of their senses by having them experiment with many natural materials.The role has become available as our current Deputy Manager has been promoted into our new Ashenground preschool. We currently have an Area Manager and 3 Senior Managers each with dedicated sites, to provide support and guidance to Managers and Deputies.
