- we are seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Groomer to join our 'family feel' team
- assess the condition of dogs' coats, skin, and overall health, and provide appropriate grooming recommendations to clients
- ensure the safety and well-being of dogs throughout the grooming process, following proper handling techniques and using appropriate tools and equipment
- maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including cleaning and sanitizing grooming tools and equipment after each use
- as a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our canine clients, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and look their best
- the ideal candidate will have excellent animal handling skills, extensive knowledge of various dog breeds and cuts, and a genuine love for dogs
- maintain accurate records of grooming services, including client information, grooming specifications, and any special instructions or requests

Requirements
- 1 year experience as a professional Dog Groomer is highly preferred
- extensive knowledge of different dog breeds, their specific grooming requirements, and coat types
- strong animal handling skills and the ability to safely restrain and control dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- excellent knowledge of grooming tools and equipment, and the ability to use them effectively and safely
- familiarity with basic dog anatomy, health, and behavior, and the ability to identify common skin issues, parasites, and other health concerns
- strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and establish a rapport with clients and their pets
- attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to achieve the desired grooming styles
- ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
