ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGERWe have a great opportunity for an Environmental Manager, to join our Team here at Kanes Foods.Key responsibilities:Develop the site Sustainability StrategyComplete Sustainability Questionnaires and feedback to customers when required.Ensure ESOS compliance and identify business improvements and opportunities.Create Environmental Business KPIs to drive engagement and monitor improvements.Implement Environmental Schemes to engage staff at all levels.Work towards understanding Kanes Carbon Footprint.Ensure all Environmental policies and procedures are up to date and in line with legal requirements.Environmental Risk Register and Risk Assessments are in place covering all areas.Deliver strategies to ensure achievement of the Environmental objectives.Environmental Management system is in place and updated annually.Waste management and recycle process and procedures in place and monitored.Introduce and lead an Environmental Monthly Meeting.Manage any Environmental Incidents effectively, ensuring business protection.Monitor the Climate Change Reports and identify any improvements required.Ensure water/effluent is managed accordingly and in line with our providers expectations.Provide professional leadership, support, and development to staff, to increase knowledge, share best practice and ensure professional standards are met.Promote inspirational leadership by demonstrating and championing the leadership behaviour framework.Manage and deliver departmental budgets to forecast.Provide clear and concise communications which can be cascade through to all levels of the department.Skills:An experienced Environmental professional with the ability to apply strong, inspirational leadership skills to promote and deliver operational goals and objective
Logistic Manager Evesham
LOGISTICS MANAGER We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join our LogisticsDepartment.Logistics Managers will be responsible for managing all of Kanes logistics activities and processes - Inbound, Outbound, and all on-site storage facilities.Previous logistics and warehousing experience are essential.Your duties will include –To manage despatch, inbound and warehouse ultimately as one operation, turning synergies in to efficiencies and cost savings.To balance efficiencies with the objective of delivering outstanding service to customers through successful despatch and 3PL management.To manage the inbound stock operation effectively and with accuracy.To successfully manage supplier performance working closely with the Procurement team.To manage Kanes third party logistics contractor ensuring highest levels of service are delivered at the contract cost levels or better.Ideally you will have:Excellent people management skills with the ability to develop, motivate & challenge direct reports and the wider team.Experience of 3PL Logistics management either as customer or as part of 3PL.Proactive and a team player skills. Leads by exampleAbility to challenge business processes and implement change – works on own initiative as required.Ability to work to deadlines and make effective decisions under pressure.Previous logistics and warehousing experience.MHE knowledge including management of a MHE contractA high level of competence in the operation of MS Office applications particularly Excel but also Word and Powerpoint.Previous experience of FMCG chilled food environment is desirable.Relevant degree and post-graduate qualification preferred.Shift and salary to be determined at the interview stage.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
