excellent working knowledge of accounting systems

proven experience in a similar role
in depth understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
excellent analytical and interpretive ability
payroll: 3 years
Responsibility
maintain and prepare prepayments and accruals schedules and journals
maintain and prepare accurate and appropriate prepayment accruals and depreciation schedules
provide relevant assistant to finance department in preparation of the annual statutory financial accounts, external audit working papers including liaising directly with the audits as and when required
assisting in the year end and statutory accounts
responsible for the prompt processing of purchase ledger invoices in coding matching checking coding invoices into the finance system
address and anomalies immediately and resolve promptly to prevent issues manifesting
review the financial management needs of the organisation and propose new systems and processes to support these needs where appropriate
