ensure the availability and performance of software systems infrastructure and application components, working closely with the product development team
lead internal and supplier activities in operation to the required customer standards
act as the main point of contact for day-to-day operational service delivery issues for our internal and external customers
ensure the issues are investigated and addressed within the agreed SLAs for the customers
manage the operational delivery of service from nominated suppliers in accordance with the contract and agreed SLAs
oversee programmes of regular operational reviews for delivery teams and initiate improvement plans
where there are problems with services, develop and implement effective corrective plans. Perform causal and action studies to minimise risks of re-occurrence
setup a mechanism to gather customer feedback on product service and feed it into the product development roadmap
Requirements
good knowledge of software change processes, high level technical architectures, methods and tools
knowledge of Project and Change Management Processes
skills to design and develop operational and customer support processes factoring in different customer and business needs
