Responsibility
- we’re currently recruiting for an experienced Metal Fabricator based at our factory in Gateshead
- this is an amazing opportunity to join our unique signage team
- the role will predominantly include the fabrication of signage and lettering through welding and various sheet metal work
- the role will involve manual handling and the use of a variety of power tools to complete the work
- experience with both aluminium and stainless steel
- the ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of metal work and fabrication
- experience with soft solder
- understand different letter fixing methods
Requirements
- qualified MIG welder and fabricator with experience
- able to cut and fabricate steel accurately to drawings
- able to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and cutting lists produced by the office
- ability to read detailed drawings
- experience operating a range of metalworking equipment
- strong attention to detail
- organised with ability to meet deadlines
- clear communication skills both verbal and written
