- overseeing a small team of engineers
- creating and controlling an effective PPM system
- ensuring Routine and Planned Maintenance on site including Mandatory or Legal Equipment / Site Testing
- maintaining technical control data, site plans, equipment manuals, specifications and electrical instruments
- carrying out Risk Assessments, ensuring safe systems of work and permit controls
- ensuring all equipment on site is operating in accordance with HSE safety guidelines

Requirements
- previous experience in a similar Engineering Manager role
- knowledge and experience of engineering and plant equipment in larger manufacturing environment
- experienced using PPM software, ideally CMMS although this is not essential
- strong experience of planning and implementing PPM
- A good understanding of PLC systems
- HSE legislation knowledge such as PUWER, IOSH ability to ensure safe working environment
- takes an overview approach but not afraid of rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in
- proactive and forward thinking
