Responsibility

  • adhere to driver hours’ legislation as required by law and ensure that hours and working arrangements are within legal limits
  • delivering skips & collecting them, driving vehicles to their destination and unloading according to site requirements
  • ensure the legal requirements are complied with by following the work instructions provided and line management
  • due to an increase in demand, JJC Hire Ltd. are currently looking for an experienced Skip Driver based in Barrow-in-Furness. We are the largest established and respected waste disposal and recycling company in Cumbria

Responsibility

  • maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
  • conduct regular preventative maintenance on service lorries, including inspection, tyre rotation and oil changes
  • maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
