  • planning and Organisation
  • you will be part of our systems team supporting Global Diesel and alternative fuel ICE platforms
  • creating, maintaining and delivering the project plan for your system based on cascaded targets and allocated resource

Requirements

  • experienced supplier interactions and management, with good commercial awareness

  • this role is open to candidates with more than 5 years relevant experience, who demonstrate a level of knowledge allowing autonomy in their role
  • be able to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • ideally, we are looking for candidates who can apply their experience and knowledge to new and existing concepts, using engineering first principles to understand problems and provide robust, validated engineering solutions whilst providing a level of mentorship to the less experienced members of the team
  • demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels
  • senior engineers within the team should be able to “lead by example”, promoting professionalism and best practice across the wider business and our suppliers

  • action routine and complex enquiries for technical information, while developing process and information flow
  • optimise specifications for customer engines ensuring appropriate engines and technology are selected
  • fully complete Installation Appraisal Reports with sign off responsibility to identify & solve customers’ engine and installation issues
  • monitor and collate reports from distributors to ensure quality standards are maintained and best practice methods are used
  • interpret test results and draw conclusions from these to implement permanent solutions
  • fully represent the customer in PS R&D internal FMEA and DVPSOR activities
  • create and update Application documentation to support new engine types / models
  • create and present application training to distributors and customers as appropriate

mechanical engineer

Requirements

  • this role is open to candidates with limited experience and fresh graduates therefore there may be a wide-ranging level of knowledge the candidate can bring to the role
  • ideally, we are looking for candidates who can apply themselves and their qualifications to new concepts, using engineering first principles to understand problems and provide robust engineering solutions within an environment of support and mentorship from more senior engineers
