Responsibility
- adhere to company safety standards to ensure a secure working environment
- read and understand product drawings and assembly instructions to accurately manufacture steel fence components
- operate tools and machinery including metalworking machinery such as cold saws, grinders, punch machines, and pillar drills, following instructions and guidelines
- maintain excellent housekeeping throughout the factory by regularly cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas
- verify dimensions and product specifications to ensure accuracy and quality
- ensure all required parts for welding are present and in proper condition
- mark cutting lines on materials and use jigs for precise fabrication
- ensure adherence to quality control standards and report any non-conformities
Requirements
- fabrication
- ability to lift steel components and work while standing for extended periods of time
- mechanical technical proficiency in metalworking processes
- strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- ability to read and learn engineering drawings
- familiarity with using measuring equipment such as tapes and verniers
