  • your main responsibilities will include

  • we have been making chocolate in our Somerset factory for over 20 years, and are experts in manufacturing for Nut Butter Brands and companies in the Healthy Lifestyle & Snacking sector
  • we are looking to recruit a Part - Time Technical / Quality Management System Lead based in our office in near Shepton Mallet. 1 - 2 days per week, competitive salary depending upon experience
  • carry our regular audits to check that factory records are completed
  • complete relevant training programmes as required by the company
  • your main responsibilities will be to support the business with the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management systems
  • it is your responsibility to co-ordinate the scheduled and non-scheduled activities of the site to assure compliance with the Quality Management System

  • to assist in all aspects of the process from material supply, through to the packing of finished product
  • to work as assigned in the production area, operating machinery to make products to required recipes, yields and quality to deliver the production plan
  • to ensure maintenance of good housekeeping and health & safety standards within the department and the site
  • to undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by the Supervisor to maintain the flow of production
  • to always adhere to all company and site policies
  • to raise any issues with Senior Production Operative as and when required
  • to ensure continuous operation of the line through support of all team member
