- read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence of operations required to fabricate metal parts
- align and fit parts according to specifications using hand tools or power tools
- pipe Bending skills required
- TIG Welding components together to assemble fabricated metal parts
- inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- ensure that all safety guidelines are followed throughout the fabrication process
- set up and operate fabricating machines, such as shears, saws, presses, drills, and grinders, to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal
Requirements
- excellent TIG welding skills
- pipe Bending skills
- mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for metal fabrication
- strong attention to detail and precision in assembling metal parts
- good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
