Credit Controller duties and responsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced Credit Controller with tasks to involve both looking at the big picture of a company’s available credit and potential while focusing on specific debts and their recovery process.Main tasks include:· Checking customer’s credit and approving or denying it, based on industry standards· Sending Statements· Telephone Chasing and Reminders· Liaising with the operation Director on Queries· Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions· Ensuring customers pay on time and chase them for overdue invoices· Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time· Maintaining accurate records· Implementing changes in the company’s credit control systemThe Credit Controller will be comfortable communicating clearly with both individuals’ debtors and company executives. With skills to include familiarity with accounts receivable procedures and reconciliation of month-end accounts. We are looking for prerequisite skills and qualifications that include:Excellent customer servicePatience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsAnalytical skills and thorough attention to detailThe ability to listen and negotiate with customersExcellent verbal communicationPersistence and determinationFamiliarity with data entry softwareAbility to work well in a teamYou will be supported by a strong management team reporting to the Operational Director, the role is flexible with options of working from home (within office hours).30 Hours a week - £25000 Pro rataJob Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 30 per weekSalary: £18,000.00-£25,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany events
