junior project manager
Responsibility
- is a building development company working within the insurance repair sector across the South & South East of the UK on behalf of several national insurance companies
- we are looking for a dedicated and driven Junior Assistant Project Manager to join our expanding team in the insurance repair sector of the group
- the job is extremely varied on a daily basis and therefore you will be expected to be able to multitask well and use your own initiative to work independently

- constructing and updating schedules of works
- putting together works orders for operatives
- hours of work: Monday - Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, with an 1/2 hour lunch break
- the ideal candidate will exhibit a high standard of communication skills being confident on the phone and with email, and have an ability to take initiative, prioritise daily tasks efficiently and have a positive hardworking growth mindset
- assisting with meetings and management of administration staff
- pay range: between £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
- it is vital to have a strong ability to take charge and meeting tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multifaceted role
- assisting the Lead Project Manager on tasks and responsibilities
- this is a great role for a University leaver or an individual looking for an entry level Job where there will be potential to grow through training and exposure
- communicating effectively with clients and keeping them updated throughout process
- booking in works with operatives and arranging start dates with customers
- dealing with calls & emails from customers, clients, policyholders, contractors, suppliers etc
- answering calls from customers, contractors, policyholders, insurance management companies, insurers etc
- use of insurance companies’ systems to record customer contact & claim progress, track claims, & upload documents
Requirements
- proficient in the use of I.T.- able to competently use Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint & Outlook etc
- professional telephone etiquette - confident receiving and making telephone calls
- confident dealing with customers as well as challenging customers and dealing with complaints
