Responsibility
- support managers by providing advice and practical guidance to help achieve effective resolutions in employee relations issues
- maintain HR policies and procedures across the organisation, ensuring these are compliant with any changes in law
- recruitment and staffing. Managing the employees’ journey from assessment to selection, induction, and exit
- processing of payroll
- managing the employee records to make sure they are up to date and relevant data is on file for audits
- reporting, and presenting, on people metrics to members of the board
- taking the lead on learning and development across the group. Identifying training needs and skills needs that can help with workforce planning
Requirements
- level 3/5 CIPD qualified or willingness to work towards this
- track record of training and development planning
- experience in the implementation of HR policies and procedures
- oral and written skills
- skills and credibility to coach managers
- knowledge of current employment laws
- prior involvement in handling disciplinaries and grievances
- professionally driven with a desire to learn
