Responsibility

  • you will be required to help with a small amount of order picking, loading of van and of course delivery driving
  • safely and punctually transport deliveries, to customers
  • carefully load and unload products from the delivery van
  • perform routine checks and maintenance on the delivery van, including fuelling, oil changes, and reporting any issues promptly
  • provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and accommodating during deliveries, including handling payment transactions if required
  • maintain open and effective communication with the dispatch team and report any issues or delays
  • the routes are pre arranged and we have keys to the customers delivery locations/ premises. Consciously unlocking for access and locking behind ourselves once the delivery has been made in tidy manner

Requirements

  • you must hold a full valid driving licence
  • due to insurance purposes you need to be 21 and over and have two years van driving experience
  • previous experience in delivery driving is desirable but not essential
  • strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • you will need to be physically fit due to the demands of the role
  • professional appearance and demeanour
