infrastructure engineer
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- designing and deploying systems and methods of business continuity, monitoring, disaster proofing, load balancing, data replication/backup
- working closely with the CTO and other stakeholders to ensure overall robustness of our SaaS platform
- administering and managing regular security/pen testing and performance/load testing
- developing and maintaining back up and monitoring solutions including support procedures and processes
- implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- supporting the internal software development team with new feature development, improvements, testing, third-party integration, and roll out of new services
- management of our cloud server ecosystem; monitoring EC2, RDS and bare metal servers, executing automation and providing security assurance, with support from external managed service providers
Requirements
- professional experience in a DevOps/Infrastructure role
- experience writing TCP/IP socket code
- linux and Windows deployment and administration
- any experience working with automotive industry technology or tools, such as video transcoding tools or processing geolocation data
- experience managing AWS cloud technologies including firewall and security management
- experience optimising web app security or scalability
- comprehensive cyber security, encryption and infrastructure management skills
