- managing, supervising and working with a team of Factory Managers, Production Engineers, Maintenance Staff, Toolroom Staff, Automation Specialists, and others, to achieve efficient and competitive production of high-quality products
- support and develop cost estimation practices to secure good customer service and satisfaction
- work together with region and site organisations to establish strategies and plans for profitable growth
- prepare mapping of "as is" end-to-end pricing processes, identify gaps and areas for improvement and prepare the proposal of targeted process landscape
- specify and develop IT and other systems to plan and administer production processes so that sales orders are satisfied on time and to high quality standards, with the support of in-house and external specialists
- support product lines and other key stakeholders on data analytical needs
- establish working familiarity with a wide range of manufacturing techniques, and use it to correct, improve and maintain processes - this extends to the investigation, development and proposal of new techniques, leading to the management of major and minor capital expenditure projects
- perform market research to determine customer needs, monitor market trends, benchmark competitor activity, and identify opportunities for growth linked to pricing development
