You could assist our waking nights team to support our young people working across the residential houses on campus. You will need to be awake throughout the night to support individuals as required. InFocus supports a large number of young people aged between 17 and 35, with complex sensory, physical and emotional needs, making our setting truly unique and rewarding. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to provide care and support to our young people within their residential accommodation at InFocus. You’ll form part of the waking night support team to provide exceptional care, health and therapy to our young people throughout the night when required. Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary. InFocus will support you every step of the way by providing an excellent, well designed induction programme along with mandatory training to help you get off to the best possible start, ensuring that you fully understand your role and the part you play in the wider organisation. Working pattern The working pattern for this position will be 33.25 hours per week, working 22:00 – 08:00 on a two-week rolling rota with occasional weekends. Our residents have bespoke care packages with enrichment programmes that support independence, develop on daily living skills and support in accessing leisure, social and vocational opportunities in the community. So, retail therapy, a bite to eat down the pub, or a leisurely walk along the beach will definitely be on the list of things to do. We provide exceptional care whilst challenging our young people to follow their dreams! At St David’s House we find that the rigid daily structures and strict routine of other care homes don’t really work here, so our staff get to spend quality time with the young people they support. Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary.
