- develop detailed HVAC designs and schematics using CAD software
- collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications
- utilise software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to create accurate design layouts
- conduct site visits to gather information and assess project needs
- prepare documentation for HVAC systems, including specifications and reports
- ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the design process
- assist in the coordination of designs with other disciplines using tools like NavisWorks and Civil 3D
- provide support during the construction phase by addressing design-related queries
Requirements
- proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit
- experience with HVAC design tools such as MicroStation, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Sketchup, and SolidWorks is advantageous
- strong understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, and industry standards
- excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented work
- ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities
- strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues
