Responsibility
set up PAYE and payroll for employees
streamline pre-existing company finance systems including Record of Monthly Expenditure and Record of Monthly Income
manage day-to-day income, expenditure and budgeting
oversee the financial relationship between Impact Dance Foundation and the holding company Impact Dance Limited
support the team in the creation of departmental budgets
oversee and direct the financial and operational management of Impact Dance Foundation. Impact Dance Foundation is the not-for-profit CLG responsible for delivering the vision of the artistic director
supervise the management of office petty cash
review company accounting software with a view to a possible smooth transition to an alternative platform
Requirements
knowledge and experience with QuickBooks accounting software
track record of taking financial responsibility for organisations and/or major projects, including setting and controlling budgets
understanding of the subsidised arts sector
knowledge about the current legislative framework and good practice guidance for charities and limited companies
experience in premises management
the ability to work pro-actively and intuitively, and quickly absorb information in a fast- paced, changeable environment
understanding of London arts and culture scene and Impact Dance’s role within it
A diplomatic advocate, confident and articulate with excellent communication skills – in both written and oral form
