IFOR WILLIAMS TRAILERS is looking for employees for positions:

apprentice

Responsibility

  • using SolidWorks 3D CAD System
  • work with our experienced Design and R&D Engineers to manufacture and assemble components or trailers in our R&D Workshop
  • train in the operation of our Manufacturing Equipment in the R&D Workshop
  • learn how to Weld Basic and Complex components
  • be part of the R&D Team to deliver our “Next Generation” products
  • supporting our design team as and when required by undertaking additional tasks such as Design of Stillages or Storage Racks and components used on our range Trailers
  • ask questions as too “Why” we manufacture items they way we do, to gain an in-depth knowledge and experience as you progress through your apprenticeship

Requirements

  • must hold at least 5 GCSE’s
  • willing to progress into a Part Time Engineering Degree
  • 3D CAD Software exposure or understanding, Preferably SolidWorks
  • be enrolled in, or willing to be enrolled into an Engineering Based Learning Course that is aligned with Fabrication, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar
