Requirements
the ideal candidate will have
basic numeracy and ability to work with quotation pricing
it is likely that the successful applicant will have at least two A-level qualifications or equivalent, and ideally a degree qualification. Some training/qualification in business administration would also be useful but not essential
some previous knowledge of Sales Admin processes, including CRM would be an advantage but not essential
ideally some experience of business communications with people from other countries for whom English is not their mother tongue
some experience of Zoom or Teams calls in a business context would be useful

Responsibility
advising the Sales Director when responses and scheduled follow-ups with customers are due, and/or sending these responses if appropriate
helping to create new machine Order Confirmation documents and monitor new machine orders through to machine shipment
building effective relationships with distributors and customers and presenting IBIS in an efficient and professional manner
monitoring of sales communications with customers and distributors and ownership of the existing CRT spreadsheet in order to maintain a full and accurate record of the status of each sales opportunity
supporting the Sales Director and the remote Sales and Marketing consultant to provide machine quotations to distributors and customers and helping to provide marketing materials or IBIS booklet samples, as required
supporting the IBIS product marketing function and assisting with the creation and updating of marketing materials, news bulletins, and the IBIS web site. Helping to organise our participation in trade exhibitions
