Responsibility
- F&I Group has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Junior Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager
- the key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of contract management, from
- overseeing weekly/monthly production, health & safety and operational meetings
- reviewing drawings and designs
- provide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, and budget monitoring
- supporting the existing management structure
- we will offer the chance to support your development including training towards NVQ Level 6 in Quantity Surveying and managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion and final account agreement
- managing and organising the roofing team logistics
Requirements
- friendly and professional manner, with good presentational, organisational and people management skills
- construction experience
- numerate, with basic commercial understanding
- A full, clean driving license
- ability to be flexible and adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
