Responsibility
- this is very much a design role that requires creative flair and technical skill
- we work for a wide variety of high-end contractors and interior design clients, and our briefs are generally to turn their concept images and drawings into cost-effective reality, using our creativity and technical knowledge in new and innovative ways
- our technical design team work closely with our sales designers to produce shop drawings and specifications for both customer concept sign off and production
- our sales designers handle sampling, concept design and development and customer relations, with our technical design team producing the detailed drawings for production and install
Requirements
- previous joinery and furniture design or manufacture role or Furniture Design degree or similar desirable
- excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
- A thorough approach and attention to detail
- understanding of joinery production and workshop tooling
- commercial awareness and time-management skills
- ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- positive working attitude
- CAD: 1 year
