Responsibility
- we're looking for a Software Engineer to join our awesome team
- your experience with web development and data management will make you an essential member of our computational team
- you will work alongside a brilliant group of scientists, engineers and technicians, supporting our journey towards large-scale production of cultivated fat
- at every step, you will play a huge role in shaping the future of food
- as a Software Engineer, you will develop tools to acquire, visualise, and analyse data from our lab and production facility
- your work will span writing and deploying automation scripts to UX design and web development
- you will work closely with scientists across the company to identify and address their computational needs
Requirements
- at least 2 years’ experience working in software engineering
- the ability to write well-tested, elegant, production-ready code in Python
- strong understanding of CI/CD, including containerisation with Docker
- familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS or GCP
- experience writing complex queries in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
- distributed task management - architecting, monitoring and debugging
- A passion for delivering end-to-end solutions for users
- scientific knowledge in biology, chemistry and/or physics
