increases in production have led to us looking to increase the workforce in the production of slate; specifically, in our saw shed, combined with general skilled Maintenance
proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a senior kitchen role
previous experience in a similar pub or restaurant setting
excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards
A knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
strong leadership and communication skills
creative flair with a passion for using local, seasonal ingredients
ability to manage kitchen budgets and control food costs

menu Development: Design and implement an exciting, seasonal menu that incorporates fresh, local produce. Ensure the menu remains innovative while maintaining popular staples
collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training where necessary
