  • 27 bed residential care home looking for a housekeeper/laundry assistant to join our team
  • you will be responsible for cleaning and laundry duties working alongside other members of the domestic team on each shift
  • you will be required to undertake all training allocated to you and be fully proficient in Infection control and COSHH

  • maintenance: 1 year

Responsibility

  • provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition
  • administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions
  • assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities
  • implement behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care needs
  • maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks
  • document daily care activities and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team
