Responsibility
- provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Room setting
- assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements
- valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- minimum of 1 year of experience working in an ER setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- nursing: 1 year
