electrical maintenance engineer
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- maintaining high work standards to ensure safe, sustainable, and reliable operations within the facility
- perform first-line troubleshooting, maintenance and rectification works across plant equipment
- both the capture and recording of all maintenance activity and history in the electronic maintenance management system
- assisting operators when required during both commissioning and long-term operations of the plant
- own the development and long-term effectiveness of the spare parts stock system for all operational equipment
- support in developing designs and building maintenance plans for new plant equipment
- when necessary, work with and support external contractors to perform instrument and electrical maintenance and rectification works on plant equipment, including planning
- lead route cause analysis workshops and provide feedback to the operations team
Requirements
- relevant maintenance experience and technical certification such as an HND/HNC
- previous experience working in a regulated industry
- good communicator with a “can do” and “positive” attitude
- good troubleshooting, organisational, decision-making and collaboration skills
- discretion and professionalism
- flexible and self-motivated
- experience working with maintenance management systems
- experience working with control PLCs
