Responsibility
- to manage the administration of 4 weekly and monthly payroll for all Hitachi Rail UK
- to manage the pension administration to include ensuring the business is compliant as per the Pensions Regulator
- to review, document and communicate the payroll operating processes
- to support all payroll related matters for Tupe acquisitions
- in this role you will be responsible for the administration of the payroll, providing an effective and efficient payroll service to designated areas within Hitachi Rail Limited
- to provide specialist advice and guidance in relation to HMRC legislation, ensuring the business is compliant to include all year end reporting
- to provide a professional and responsive service to customers both internally and externally and to be the first line support for employee payroll queries
Requirements
- essential Requirements
- prior payroll experience
- must have knowledge and understanding of UK Payroll and legislation
- the ability to check payroll accurately within a fast paced environment
- excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills, ability to work and communicate with senior stakeholders and staff at all levels
- strong team working skills, able to work collaboratively across the HR function in a multi sited environment
- numerate with the ability to understand and analyse complex information and data
