- we are a well established busy mixed NHS/PVT family run dental practice consisting of three surgeries
- the practice is fully computerised and digital xray system
- immediate start or september
- principal dentist working on site
- nhs rates and target depend on experience and will be discussed at the interview
- there is excellent private potential
- the current principal has special interest in oral surgery,implants and sedation
- dentistry
- dentistry: 1 year
- medical Receptionist: 1 year
- manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- supervise staff, including dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive work environment
- oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled workforce
- handle financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable to ensure the financial health of the practice
- implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction
- coordinate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery
- monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, making orders as necessary to maintain stock levels
- previous experience in a managerial role within a dental practice is highly desirable
- proven track record in managing teams effectively and fostering an environment of collaboration and support
- strong understanding of financial management principles related to healthcare practices
- excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence
- dental Practice Management: 2 years
- assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available
- provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns before, during, and after treatments
- maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
- ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment
- manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments as necessary
- communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, oral hygiene instructions, and follow-up care
- collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice
- previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous
- strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- A genuine passion for patient care and a desire to contribute positively to their dental experience
- dental assisting: 1 year
