Requirements
- degree qualified or similar qualification
- > 7 years experience at a senior level in the automotive sector is required developing electrified powertrains and components
- background in automotive development environment
- knowledge and understanding of driveline attribute engineering and target setting
- strong communication, information transfer and inter-personal skills with practical, pro-active hands on approach
- capable of working efficiently as a team leader to tight deadlines
- excellent IT, Verbal and Written communication skills
- electrical Engineering: 1 year
Responsibility
- lead test & development work on electrified powertrain systems and mechanical systems on driveline test beds
- work collaboratively with the Design Office and key external suppliers to establish driveline targets for new projects and to help to establish and optimise designs
- liaise with external test houses for delivery of tests, including reporting and maintaining to agreed schedules
- develop working practices in the department including training of other new staff members
