Responsibility

to provide informal HR advice and assist managers with early intervention and resolution of cases
to support business with TUPE transfers and reorganisations
to deputise for the Head of HR on employment issues as required in delivery of HR services across the organisation
to proactively manage sickness absence across the business by working with Managers to support them through coaching, advice and documentation
supporting and coaching Managers to facilitate effective people and team performance
to support with HR Policy development, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing initiatives
to lead and/or participate in cross company and HR projects, eg retention, succession planning and employee engagement
to participate in other HR projects, eg recruitment, retention, succession planning

Requirements

relevant degree or relevant professional qualifications eg MCIPD or equivalent experience
degree or working towards relevant professional qualifications eg CIPD or equivalent experience
in depth knowledge and understanding of employment and equalities legislation and HR best practice
demonstrable success in effectively coaching employees and management through complex HR issues and case management
the proven ability to navigate and manage employee relations issues
strong HR generalist experience within a fast paced, multi-site environment
A solid HR generalist background
experience of TUPE
