Responsibility

  • manage the credit control process from start to finish to ensure timely payments from clients
  • build and nurture relationships with clients, both new and long standing
  • liaise with fee earners and support staff on accounts and any issues
  • liaise with our debt recovery team in managing debts that have been passed down a formal debt collection route
  • negotiate payment plans with clients where appropriate
  • devise and maintain accurate metrics on outstanding debt
  • produce weekly reports of outstanding debt with accurate commentary
  • adhere to internal and external policies and procedures including credit control legislation
