Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to develop strategies for clients to live well with dementia, maintain their independence and to engage in their communities
- to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including Medical Professionals, Social Services and Care Support Providers
- to provide clients and their carers with person-centered emotional support, information and advice to ensure people living with dementia and their carers have their ongoing care needs met
- to support the Dorset Dementia Service, Dementia Friendly Communities and other groups in the delivery of dementia activity sessions in the defined local area
Requirements
- excellent interpersonal skills
- good administrative skills
- good understanding of safeguarding and risk assessments
- proficient in MS Office
- experience of working within a care setting is desirable
- an understanding of dementia or a willingness to learn is desirable
