Responsibility
- heath Electrical Services is seeking for skilled and experienced commercial electricians to join our team
- as a commercial electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings
- install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings, including wiring, fixtures, controls, and equipment

- ensure that electrical installations and repairs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations
- troubleshoot electrical problems and perform accurate diagnoses to identify and repair issues
- install and connect wiring, conduit, and electrical components according to project requirements and specifications
- perform electrical testing, including continuity, voltage, and resistance checks, to ensure proper functioning and safety of electrical systems
- you will collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure that electrical projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- emergency Lighting Testing
Requirements
- additional certifications or specialised training in specific electrical areas
- proven work experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role
- journeyman or master electrician license, as required in the local jurisdiction

- strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and materials
- proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings
- experience with motor controls and programmable logic controllers
- MUST hold a valid JIB card
- excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
- solid understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification or equivalent, such as City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 2357. This is often seen as a standard entry-level qualification for electricians in the UK
- excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- ECS Gold Card
- ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload
- physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- apprenticeship in Electrical Installation: This typically includes practical training and assessments to demonstrate competence in the role
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- electrical: 5 years
- city & Guilds 2382-18 : Knowledge of the current Wiring Regulations is essential for any electrician role
- valid UK driver's license
- city & Guilds 2396: This is a level 4 qualification in Design and Verification of Electrical Installations. It's not always required but could be a benefit for more senior roles
