Requirements
- to be based at Carnaby depot
- A suitable level of fitness is required to cope with physical demands of job, i.e
- able to walk for a minimum of 5 hours a day and the capability to move heavy equipment
- exposure to hand arm vibrating equipment will be required working within HSE guidelines
- we are seeking applicants who wish to be considered for seasonal vacancies commencing on 18th March 2024 until 13th October 2024 in the Grounds Maintenance section
- ability to work outdoors in all weathers
- the hours of work are 37 hours per week plus 2 hours contractual overtime, normal working is Monday to Friday - you must be able to report to the depot ready for work by 7.30am
- please note, the outcome of the council’s Total Pay and Reward review means the salary for this position from 1st April 2024 will be £24,294 and the weekly hours worked will be 37 hours
